Step 1: Preparation
- Debone the chicken thighs.
- Use the back of a knife to gently flatten the thicker parts of the meat. This helps it cook evenly without shrinking too much.
Step 2: Pan-Frying the Chicken
- Heat the oil, then fry the Chicken on LOW HEAT.
- Once the chicken steak is fully cooked, sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides. And it's done!
How to tell if the chicken is cooked through:
- The chicken should turn white and develop a slight char on the outside.
- Poke a hole in the meat; if the juices run clear (not red or pink), the inside is fully cooked.
- Check the sides of the chicken; if you see any pink, use tongs to stand the chicken up and sear those spots.
